If you are following along on Instagram, you might know that one of the reasons I came back to Bali is the fact that I was asked to feature as a "model" in a music video for German artist Jerome Walker.
His new song "Never gonna give you up" released December 8 is already climbing the German DJ charts as we speak, so a video is about to go live soon. We had so much fun shooting this cool project, so go ahead and read on, and I will tell you some more about it...
I am a little late posting this fall look as I'm already back in Indonesia and typing this post from my hotel room with a view over the ocean.
We shot this look three weeks ago in Amsterdam and although I am not fond of the cold weather, I love a good case of layering when it comes to my outfits.
Oh yes, I am in back in Amsterdam and it's cooooooold!
The funny thing is I won't be here for long, as I am flying back to Bali next week, so it's just a short stay here. Still, its fun to bundle up in winter outfits and drink hot chocolate at home.
Talking about bundling, I have been practically living in this denim raincoat from Rain Couture for the last few days. It's light but really warm. I love how you can easily throw it over anything.
I'll be gone to Indonesia for "just" four weeks, to work on a few great projects. I can't wait to tell you some more about it soon. I will be back just before Christmas because nothing can beat the holiday season right at home.
Still stuck in warm Bali climates, I am still throwing summer outfits in your face. Sorry, but not so sorry LOL. The temperatures are perfect here you guys. You should be here too. I wore this semi-casual ensemble on a night out clubbing in Kuta. Yup love me a little bit of serious getting down once in a while. I shot these photos right before sunset just to give you guys an idea. Love the all-white look, and I can't help being obsessed with this floral rattan Bali bag I scored at Ubud market.
I've spent two weeks on The Kei Islands and I was so crazy busy with work, that I needed a break to catch my breath. As you can imagine I am so excited to be back. Everything is amazing here. The beautiful weather and stunning surroundings make me never want to leave this place.
How are you all doing? As you might know from my previous posts and if you've checked out my Instagram lately, I've traveled back to the Kei Islands a few weeks ago. I took a few snaps when I visited the Bali-Kei Festival. Located on one of the most beautiful white beaches in the world this three-day music expo was one of the most fun events I have attended this year...
How is it going? A few weeks ago we got invited to attend Africa Fashion Week Europe. The event was located in Amsterdam, so being the true fashion lover, I totally grabbed the opportunity to check it out. Yay for tons of new fashion inspiration and let's be honest, who can refuse an occasion to really get dressed up again right?
We are back in Amsterdam and I still wanted to post a few snaps from when I went to Amsterdam Fashion Week a few weeks ago. I got invited to attend the Dennis Diem show and as always I was absolutely thrilled to be able to check out their new collection.
I have been really into wearing red lately, so I wore this low cut red number and dressed it down by throwing on an oversized striped blazer. I finished the look by choosing a pair of fish net socks and killer heels to add some edge to the total look.

I have been very busy preparing new outfit inspiration for you guys and this blog will soon be located back in Amsterdam again. I can't wait to share my city photos with you again and uuuh wearing high heels again. Like I mentioned before wearing these are almost impossible to do out here in Bali. Think sweltering heat and cobble stone pavements. I will be back soon darlings.
This is the second part of our magical stay at The LegianBali. I wrote a full review about this award winning 5 star hotel in my latest posthere.
We took so many photos, that's why I still have a few outfits to share with you guys. Bali has been so good to us and The Legian has played a huge part in this amazing adventure. Keep reading to find out more about our stay here...
I am excited to share yet another travel adventure with you. This time I am taking you to the exquisite multi- award winning Legian Baliin Seminyak When you try to imagine perfection, The Legian Balihappens to get very close to making this perfection possible. I consider myself lucky to have traveled and stayed in numerous hotels and resorts all over the world, but The Legian Bali takes impeccable service to another level. Read on to find out more about the time we spent at this gorgeous location.
The heat in Bali always requires a girl to wear loose fitted and comfortable clothing. Heels? Tried it and trust me it was a huge mistake. Picture me almost falling flat on my face on a night out on the town. The street pavements here were probably invented by someone not thinking of any girl wanting to dress up. Nope, I have to stick with comfy shoes, so as you can imagine I like to get creative and wear all sorts of colorful sandals. Dresses and tops and skirts ditto. To avoid breaking out in sweat by wearing clingy clothes, I opt for easy breezy dresses to keep it fashionable and stay cool while I am at it...
Finding the perfect accommodation where I feel at right home is one of the most challenging tasks while traveling I think. Especially if you are away from home for months at the time. I always look for a place that has that homey feeling and that's what we found when we discovered The Aqua Octaviana Bali Villas. We have stayed here for more than two months and after that, we still never wanted to leave. So let me tell you about this gorgeous spot, and what made it so special to us...
When in Bali, chasing a waterfall just has to be on top of your bucket list. Most waterfalls are tucked away on the north side of the island. It takes almost half a day to get there by car. So when you only have a few days in Bali and don't have the time to travel al the way up to the north side, you have the option to visit the Kanto Lampo waterfall. Kanto Lampo is a new hidden treasure in Bali. It's located in the Gianyar region, not too far away from Ubud and about just one hour away from Kuta and Seminyak. A new waterfall you might think? Yep, this spectacular piece of nature just popped out the ground less than a year ago, so let me tell you about it.
Welcome to my favorite villa in Bali. As you might know from my previous posts we've spent some time in east Bali and loved it. I am quite obsessed with finding true gems when it comes to where we're staying while traveling.
Emiel always lets me pick the hotel and I can spend hours online searching for the perfect spots. I guess I have become quite a pro at this, because he always loves my picks. The same goes when we stayed in Amed and spent a few incredible days and never wanted to leave!
Yup, we're still in Bali and here is another post fromThe Griya Villas And Spa. This time I am showcasing my favorite swimsuit at the moment. It's from Thaikila a Balinese beachwear brand. I fell in love with them a few months ago by just randomly walking into their flagship store in Seminyak. I already wrote a short review about them here. What I love about this particular piece is the dream catcher netting on the belly area? How incredibly cool is this sexy yet sophisticated design?
Wearing earth tones are the new favorite, and today I am sporting a casual look I wore when we stayed at the luxurious Griya Villas And Spa in east Bali a few weeks ago. You can read more about it here.
With continuing hot temperatures in Bali, I keep reaching for light fabrics to stay cool. For some reason I really love the color combo army green and blush. What do you guys think?
Just woke up to a million dollar view. This is what happened when we drove to Amed, a dreamy fishing village on the east coast in Bali. We were welcomed to stay at the spectacular Griya Villas And Spa for a relaxing weekend to unwind, taste the best foods and swim in our own private pool. What could be more heavenly than this right?
I am lucky to be here in Bali and experience a real Balinese ceremonial blessing. We have been staying at the wonderful Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa and every year they prepare rituals and offerings to give thanks and to get rid of evil spirits. Bali is the islands of the Gods and it's so amazing to get to know their rich culture. By the way, how do you like my traditional Balinese dress we picked for the ceremony?
We have been in Bali for almost five weeks now, but I couldn't help but wanting to share these photos. These were our last days relaxing on The Kei Kecil Islands.
Pasir Panjang Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Indonesia with the whitest sand and clearest oceans I have ever seen..
