Home Away From Home At Aqua Octaviana Bali Villas

Finding the perfect accommodation where I feel at right home is one of the most challenging tasks while traveling I think. Especially if you are away from home for months at the time. I always look for a place that has that homey feeling and that's what we found when we discovered The Aqua Octaviana Bali Villas. We have stayed here for more than two months and after that, we still never wanted to leave. So let me tell you about this gorgeous spot, and what made it so special to us...

I searched online for days before I came across this beautiful little boutique hotel right in the heart of the quiet village of Umalas. It's minutes way from Seminyak and famous beach clubs like Potato Head, Ku De Ta, and The W Hotel. Hello gorgeous view with a hot tub right on our private sundeck!

What we loved about our penthouse suite was the beautiful antique furnishing. The cool thing about this hotel is that every room is furnished differently. It really feels like a little home.

There were beautiful Balinese trinkets everywhere in the rooms. We loved these little personal touches. I am a sucker for details and The Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa thought about everything

When we arrived here in Bali we were very stressed and tired, so jumping into our own jacuzzi any time of the day was absolute heaven. Taking these flower baths are one of my very fond memories.

We were in the public pool doing our laps at least twice a day. The pool is big enough to get a great work-out.  The Octaviana Bali Villa is peaceful and not too crowded. I am not fond of too many tourists in one place and this place felt so serene, yet there were enough visitors for a happy vibe. There is also a spa and you can get a wonderful massage at almost any time of the day.

 The suite comes with a huge private deck, so it great to munch on snacks overlooking this beautiful view. Can nothing beat that right? Looking at these photos you might think these villas are way over your budget. Nope they are not! You can look up this place on their website and Booking.com and you will not believe their affordable room rates. I had to blink a couple of times before I believed it. I was afraid this was to good too be true, but it was true. The Aqua Octaviana Bali Villas totally lived up to any of our expectations. The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating. We really felt at home here for the past months.

Here's another pool view from our patio.  We could stare at it every day and that's exactly what we did! Mornings were our favorite time of the day here.

The Aqua Octaviana Bali Villa have several rooms and even a few rooms with a private pool. We chose the Penthouse suite because it simply had so much space and the view! Did I mention the view already?

You can clearly see our villa is perfectly hidden behind lush trees, therefore it feels very private without feeling being completely locked away. The garden is one of my favorite areas at the villas. It felt like an Asian fairytale being there.

 I picked up this adorable dress at Bamboo Blonde in Seminyak in Bali. As you might have read in my previous posts, I am absolutely crazy about this brand.

 If you like to be in a quiet and safe neighborhood while only being a few minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Bali. This is the place to be. We rented a motorbike to get everywhere fast, so staying here, we were close enough to all the hot spots of  Seminyak and Kuta. Just like I said, just rent a scooter or motorbike.  I highly recommend this place for everyone wanting to de-stress and unwind for a few days.
