Happy Friday everyone
I guess this blog has been a little
bit on a summer break. I know, I know, I've been a bad blogger. I always feel terrible when I haven't posted regularly, but I hope you guys can bear with me. The reason for being behind on my posts is the fact that I have been super duper busy preparing
for our six-month move to Indonesia in three weeks time. Yes, three weeks and I am getting antsy! The closer we get to
the date of leaving Amsterdam the more excited yet anxious I am
becoming. To be honest I am terrified to be away from my beloved closet as
silly as that might sound. Ok, it actually sounds ridiculous I know. I hope anyone can relate! I mean what if I...
Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and wonder. What if I want to attend a fabulous party and I desperately want to wear those cute little red heels I didn't bring? We are staying on the very remote Kei islands for months on end and the idea that there are no stores or malls freaks me out. I am really excited but what if,... what if LOL I have to remind myself there are far worse things going on in the world right now than worrying about bringing the right items to a tropical island right? The last thing I want to do is come across as a crazy air head that is worrying about accessories an not being able to get her beauty items. Solution: I just have to bring ten suitcases.
The thing is, I would like to keep inspiring you all with cool outfits and being so far away from home and therefor my closet makes it a little bit more complicated and takes some careful planning. I hope you guys will stick with me on this journey, as this blog might change a little. Think summer and beach outfits on a tropical beach while everyone in Europe and The US is freezing their butts off during fall and winter. Sorry but not so sorry guys As you can imagine, we are extremely excited.
For anyone who missed it. Emiel and I are looking at opportunities to start up a business on the Kei islands in Indonesia. It will take time and we really want to be there from the start and be part of the whole process. So this might explain our six-month stay. I can't tell you in every detail what kind of business we have in mind just yet, but it definitely has nothing to do with fashion. More about this in the future, I promise.
In the meantime, I hope you like this summer/fall transitional outfit I am wearing. I mean Over-The Knee boots are my way of starting the fall season the right way. What do you think?
