Oh Deer

Hey everyone

Let's start talking about today's outfit. This particular dress by Mr Gugu & Miss Gogo catches attention mainly because of the huge deer head printed on the front and the back, making it an absolute statement piece. Usually I am not for big prints, especially not faces and heads, but when I picked out this piece I thought it was so fun and different, yet still classy!

When I was thinking about where to shoot this today's outfit, my BF slash photographer Emiel came to the rescue with the most perfect location. "Let's shoot on the top of Ijseloord hill. There is a huge black deer statue", he mentioned.  I wondered if the location and the dress wouldn't be too "matchy matchy" but as always Emiel was right.This location is absolutely beautiful and just about what I was looking for to showcase this piece!

Outfit - Palm Tree Joggers

Hey everyone

I have been totally in a summery "vacation" mood lately. It reflects in the way I have been dressing and in this post I am making no exceptions. I am talking about these palm printed joggers I'm wearing by Mr. Gugu & Miss Go. A fabulous "thinking out of the box" brand I have just recently discovered.  I love brands that create one of a kind pieces and Mr. Gugu & Miss Go does just that. Think high quality, great design and all this for a fabulous price.

I kept this outfit pretty simple,and when I look at at these comfy joggers I could have easily paired them nicely with a white crochet or a cropped denim top. You can dress them up with a pair of heels, satin blouse and a statement necklace or dress them down by adding sneakers and a fun tee.   I tend to pick pieces that stand out, but are easy to combine with almost anything. This way I know for sure that I will wear it over and over again. For some reason I know that's exactly what will happen with these super comfy and stylish joggers. Thinking about it I have a very strong feeling I will wear them again today!

It's been all about Chloé lately. The Chloé bag is without a doubt the hottest it-bag this season, and as you may have noticed, they've got my name written all over them! literally! The latest Chloé bags just exude that retro and seventies vibe which will match perfectly with that Boho-Chic trend going on this summer. Hey everyone

You know one of those days when everything just falls into place and makes perfect sense? That's exactly what happened when we found this stunning Japanese garden right in the middle of the city to shoot this bohemian outfit that I've been eager to share with you guys. It basically contains all my favorite "on trend" pieces and is absolutely perfect for this summer.

Hey everyone 

As you all know; Diane Von Furstenberg aka DVF has been known to have invented the wrap dress all the way back in 1972. Diane still creates her famous wrap dresses and when I checked out her SS15 collection, I thought it was so fresh, modern and oh so perfect for every type of occasion. 

If you are on the lookout for a dress that is perfect for a day at the office and then out to a night on the town, this is really it! You can dress them up or down, but one thing is for sure! These dresses are always good to go. To me Diane's wrap dresses exude that Saint Tropez elegance and classic chic I have always been so in love with. How pretty and flirty are they for Summer?

Outfit - Bohemian Maxi

Hey everyone 

When it comes to spring and summer wear the most comfortable pieces of clothing are in my opinion maxi dresses. They hide any type of flaw, are so easy breezy and keep you cool during a hot day. I am a huge fan of maxi dresses and I can not believe I bought this dress about a year ago and haven't shared it here on the blog yet!

This piece caught my eye when I noticed the beautiful pastel colors, the lace trim and the beautiful tropical print. To keep things modern and trendy, I added a Panama hat and a silver coin necklace that are being sold everywhere at the the moment in all shapes and sizes. I grabbed this particular one at Pieces and I am so crazy about it that I want to wear it basically every day.

Hey everyone

To me, nothing beats a good beach day! I am a total beach girl at heart and have always felt the most happy near the ocean. There is something so pure about the beach. It soothes my heart and distresses me the minute I arrive and smell the salty water.

Wearing an all white outfit reflects my beach mood and this being the first time being back here again after a long winter, all I could think of was wearing this super cute laced Jacky Luxury dress. With the seventies trend being hot at the moment, this was the perfect white piece I could pull out of my closet. It's very feminine and dainty and totally boho-chic.  It was still a bit chilly so I decided to wear this dress over a white jeans jegging and paired it with gold slip on sneakers and this beautiful straw basket bag I scored in Ibiza last summer.

Hey everyone

This winter I couldn't wait to pull out my beloved Panama hat out of the closet. Winter season took way too long and I missed wearing this piece so much.  As you might remember the Panama hat had been one of my favorite items on the blog last summer. Yesterday was finally the day when I had the feeling it was all possible again!  With temps up at 23 degrees Celsius it was the first day where I could bare my legs and celebrate spring wearing my favorite head gear! Add a floral dress, denim jacket and comfy biker boots and I am ready to hit festival season with a look that screams boho-chic but is appropriate for almost any type of occasion.

That feeling when you walk into a store and one piece catches your eye and it's love at first sight. That's exactly what happened when I spotted this gorgeous lilac Claudia Sträter trench coat. The color being just perfect for spring this trench was something I just couldn't resist to take home with me. Picture my mom telling me over and over I just had to get it and the deal was closed. Anything mom says goes right?

Hey everyone

One fabulous fashion trend I can't wait to rock this Spring and Summer are the gladiator sandals. How fun and sexy are they?   When searching the Internet I could find them in all shapes possible. Flats and high heel versions. Flats, easy yet dressy for those long Summer strolls and high heeled gladiators for a night out on the town. I picked out a few favorites that I think will make a statement on any outfit. Gladiator sandals are easy to pair with basically anything. So you can just go ahead and pair it with skirts, dresses, shorts, rompers and even on the beach with your swimsuit.
