I hope you are enjoying your Sunday so far, As for me, I am counting down the days till we leave for Bali later this week. Six days to go and I can not contain myself, that's how excited I am. In the meantime I wanted to share an outfit that I wore last week when the weather was extremely warm. Can I get an amen to the fact that summer is finally back? Sporting a striped "red on red" look that's dressy, yet casual enough to wear for any type of occasion. Think city and beach from day into night. I love wearing an outfit that is appropriate for different occasions. It saves the time changing clothes before dinner, and don't we all love to save as much time as possible with our busy schedules?
I grabbed this classic striped button down dress a year ago in Los Angeles and it's still one of my absolute favorite go-to pieces. I love the front and side pockets and the A line silhouette. It would have been easy to pair this dress with black sandals and to finish it off with a brown or black bag, but I wanted to go for a bolder and modern touch and chose everything in the same shade. As you can see, it can be done without being too overpowering.
